"Out of It" is Dog Name's first dispatch from three years in the home studio trenches. Following two solo releases by guitarist Eadie Newman, this also marks the first release from the full band lineup featuring Lara Sweeney on drums and Jonathan Corcoran on bass. With a full-length release to come later this year, "Out of It" foreshadows many of the common musical and lyrical threads woven through the album. Songs of doubt and longing that took shape during morning tea breaks and late night walks through deserted suburbia.
